T350 Clean / Polish
Thought i'd post this on here as picked up a lot of advice (and products!) from the guys at Polished Bliss, during my time as a P1 owner and since picking up my new 'toy'.
Sun was shining, and a recent delivery from PB was in need of a thorough trial ... so set to work on my '03 T350 this morning and 4 hours later was well happy with the results (apart from the sunburnt back!! ) ...
Time didn't allow for the claying / swirl removal i'd planned so a clean and polish had to suffice...
Was happy with the level of reflections :
Interior restored to 'as new' condition:
And all exterior 'details' polished to within an inch of their lives:
Not bad, IMHO, for a 4+ year old car
For those people that are interested ... the process / products were:
- Bodywork and glass washed using Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo, Megs Lambswool wash-mitt
- Wheel-arches washed using Megs Microfibre wash-mitt
- Dried using Poorboy's waffle-weave towel
- Wheels washed using Meguiars hot rims and Meguiars versa-angle wheel brush, dried using Megs drying towel
- Tyres 'dressed' with Megs Endurance high-gloss tyre Gel
- Polished (by hand) with Jeffs Prime Acrylic applied and German Applicator pad
- Buffed off using Poorboy's Super Thick & Plush Towel, with a spray off Acrylic Glos
- Coat of Acrylic Jett Trigger applied and buffed with Poorboy's Deluxe Mega Towel
- Interior leather cleaned with Poorboy's Leather Stuff
- Exhaust tips polished with Megs Nxt Gen All Metall Polish
Have to say, of all the products I was trialling, whilst everything was v.good ... was most impressed with the waffle weave towel and leather stuff!

To drive they're a bit uncomfy (stiff suspension, offset peddles etc.) but the accelleration and handling is unbelievably good ... quick and direct!
