Default Which products?

ok i've been looking on the Polished bliss website and think i've found what i need?
I've got a pearl blue (similar to WR blue) car which has lots of swirls from previous owners and other contaminents on the surface.
I've decided (unless i'm corrected) on the following
Poorboy's Polish with Carnuba Blue 16oz 1
£8.47 £8.47
Poorboy's SSR2 1
£8.47 £8.47
Meguiars Quik Clay 1
£9.32 £9.32

Is this sufficient for a good prep and polish?
how long will it last before needing to be topped up?

Thanks

Spray and Gloss for detailing and removing smudges, fingerprints, smears etc

EX P Sealant to seal in your polished finish and add some durability.

Plus at least 5 or 6 microfiber towels.

You'll probably get 4-6 weeks, I've done my car once all winter and it still comes up very well with just a wash.

For swirl removal I went for Menzerna Intensive polish as opposed to Poorboys SSR on the advice of Rich at Polished bliss. Apparantly Subaru paint is particualrly hard.

Anyway, tried it out and have to say the results were fairly amazing.

I tried the above by hand with a german applicator pad, you need to have forearms like Popeye to make a difference on bad swirls as it is very hard work mate, that's why I bought a p/c
Then follow up with FP 2 to remove any slight hazing/marring
Poorboys, I wouldnt try anything harsher than SSR 2 by hand either as yo dont generate enough force/heat etc to breakdown the polsh

I'd recommend starting with Meguiars Quik Clay to remove any bonded surface contaminants, followed by Menzerna Intensive Polish applied using the white side of a German Pad, and buffing off with Super Thick n Plush Towels. Then onto one of these protection systems...

Menzerna Intensive Polish is hard work by hand, but it does work on Scooby paint, and removes fine to moderate swirls without leaving any micromarring; the Poorboy's SSR's are not as suitable, and have less corrective power and are prone to leaving micromarring when used by hand.
