Tried Autoglym SRP with a rotary today
Quite a nice combo it has to be said, used one of the supplied foam pads that came with the rotary and was marked up for "polishing and compounding cellulose"
Starting with the bonnet on the white scoob i used number 1 to spread it about, before cranking it up to 2.5 to buff it in, TBH this was not really needed at all, i then did the full car on 1.5 to slowly buff it into the paintwork, then removed it with a clean cotton cloth.
i find that i can get quite a bit of heat into the panels with G3 paste and the rotary, but its quite hard to get any heat into them with normal "polish" so much so that i easy went around the bumpers without fear of damage.
im sure SRP would give quite good results with the PC as well TBH
worth trying if you have a load of SRP put away somewhere (i had a giftpack kicking around that somebody gave me 2 years back )
FWIW i think SRP is pretty crappy when used by hand
never bothered to take any pictures as the paintwork on the car is brand new except the roof and the bonnet/ and they were not in a bad state to begin with, they were left feeling nice top the touch when i finished

should have taken some photos today but we had a faded white polo in for a simple t-cut, so i thought i would bring out the rotary again for some more testing, and to try and get rid of the 294 rolls of blue 3m tape i have kicking around (cheap ebay special i could not refuse )
i used coloured t-cut and a speed of around 1000 rpm to cut back the car, we then finished it off by hand, not quite experienced enough to start finishing off customers cars with it yet, prefer not going to crazy till i learn the ropes, im not bothered with my own car, i did burn through the paint on the scooby in a small place LOL
but i just painted the sideskirt again, cant really go painting customers cars if it all goes pete tong

its a steep learning curve
the part that burnt, i think may have been the backing pad touching TBH
but i was going "hell for leather" with the g3 paste on some orange peel
