Question Paint restoration

Right, just got my hands on a MK1 Astra GTE. Body is sound as it has been in storage for 15 or so years. Paint is Red

Problem is the paint. It has completely lost its shine and lustre. Looks more like a red chalk board.

I already have a PC polisher and mild polish's for use on the scoob. (FMJ ect.)
What products can you suggest to bring the paint back to life???????

What polishes do you have? Menzerna IP followed by FPII will certainly work, but you may want to start more gently with something like JEFFS Werkstatt Prime Strong - this is capable of shifting very heavy oxidation (which is the problem with the paint), but won't remove any sound paint, unlike the Menzerna twins. Whatever you do, you will see a bit of paint transfer onto the pads, and this won't come out in the wash, so be warned!
