Default Stone Chips!!!

Can anyone help?

Stone chips are becoming a pain in the preverbials and i was just wondering if anyone had any or sly tricks up there sleeves to prevent the front and wing mirrors getting chipped.

Please Help!!!

No real point on fitting Armourfend unless the area is chip free though..Sort of thing to do after a respray.

I had it on my old Elise (after a respray) and works very well. Well worth the money.

Try www.paintshield.co.uk got it on mine very good over 11k now and not a single stone chip

Armourfend and Paintshield are excellent products but applying it now after the car has got the stonechips is like shutting the door after the horse has bolted. If you touch in the stone chips then have one of the above products applied the touched in stone chips if slightly raised will stick out worse under the paintfilm protection, best to get a respay then have it applied

i was trained to do that around 10 years ago by an rac inspector as part of the ford direct used car system, the first lot of cars that used to hit the used car lots were actually pretty dam nice, as time has passed the standards have defo slipped, the rac man used to come once a week and pass or fail the cars, i had a cool little round sanding block and these very small 1/2cm sanding pads for the end of it

you should see my collection of touch up pens at my parents house

my P1 has armourfend on the front splitter, that itself has chipped bad and looks poo, i've try'd to pull it off but it looks like its going to be aright **** job, after i get the splitter painted i WILL not fit any armourfend to it agian
