Folks, none of this should affect you in the slightest, but from midnight tonight the store will switch over into VAT mode, with VAT showing on your invoices from now on. No price changes will occur as a results of this action. If you spot anything odd or have any difficulties over the next couple of days please send an e-mail or pm and I'll investigate asap - however, making the changes was an easy task, so it shouldn't cause any problems.

Another thing to note is a change in our working hours - today was my last day at my day job, and from now on we will be working from 10am to 8pm Monday to Friday. So now the phone will be answered during the day!

Okay, the transition seems to have gone smoothly, apart from a small number of rounding issues which generated seemingly odd prices. In order to fix this we have had to increase half a dozen prices by 10p, and lower half a dozen prices by 10p. Overall then, no significant changes. Can't believe how much the VAT man collects - never really thought about it until now!
