Default Cleaning microfibre cloths?

After getting them all dirty and contaminated what the best way to properly clean microfibre cloths? I heard that putting them thru the washing machine was not the best of ideas (after I had done it) and now my large drying towel seems to sweep the water about rather than soak it up

You should be able to wash them. I put one in the wash with my drying towel and used non-bio liquid as the powder is gritty if it doesn't wash properly.

Andy.

Dont use any fabric softener either!

You can boil them in water with a little vinega added if they need a thorough cleaning!

Here's the info from the guides on my site...

All towels and applicator pads should be washed in a washing machine at a low temperature using a gentle non-biological liquid detergent (avoid soap powders and detergents containing bleach or fabric softeners), before allowing everything to dry out naturally.

If the towel has been dried too harshly or washed with softeners it's ruined I'm afraid - you can't undo the damage (I save such towels for drying off wheels and the engine bay).
