Half polish then rain!
Rained stopped play today as I was halfway through polishing using my new natty blue
I'd already done 1 coat on the bonnet, roof and rear wing and part of the boot, picked the kids up from school, then started again on the same bits. Bonnet, roof and wing and top of boot, when I felt the 1st drops of rain. Didn't seem to bad, and I guessed it would pass over, so started down the drivers side. Just as I was finishing that, the heavens opened, and I made a bee line for the shelter of my small garage. It's not stopped since
So my question is: Will it be ok to leave on now overnight until I can get too it tomorrow afternoon (that is if it's stopped raining?)
My garage is too small to work around the car, I can just get out when I've parked it inside! So I'm not able to continue the process in there.
It looked ok to me when I left it, and it did say apply with a damp sponge applicator

Second that what Si says but If it was me would wash the car again or quick detail it as the rain will mix with the dust etc in your garage, you don’t want to be trapping crap under the wax - you want to fire on about 2 coats anyway to ensure even coverage (not within 24 hrs of each other) so I wouldn’t worry too much about it as the nattys can be layered as much as you want I think.
Get some pics of the lovely beading effect (god I am sad)

Thanks guys, it's the only thing I bought at the NBO
I was tempted to take a few shots of the beading on the roof, as it looked really nice, and a couple of beads had trapped some very small leaves!
Yep, we're both sad Justin

Try the 'spit/shine' method nof applying Nattys is works a treat

Agree with Rasher-spit shine results are awesome. Especially if you use mineral water such as evian mixed every so slightly with Meguairs last touch

Well, I got up today, after what I believe has been a nice dry day, got the car out to pick up the kids, driving back from there with every intention of finishing this job off, and guess what? Yes, bloody rain again!
So, it's in the garage, and I'm squeezed in there polishing the passenger side, front and rear atm!
Damn english summer!

Using the IP I put the polish on in a cross on the pad then blotted it onto the paintwork then sprayed the pad with a mist of water and then started, once the IP had gone almost clear I sprayed the panel again with water and did the same again then buffed of with a damp microfibre cloth

Another alternative is CD2 - lots of people on here have used it - and its nice and easy to use - Halfords sell it on the snipe - I used it a while ago you get the safe degreaser and the detailer/protection spray in a box for about £12.00
I never got before and after pics but it does the job
