I have a 05 Crystal Grey Sti which I regularly keep polished and waxed. After cleaning the car the other day I noticed what I can only describe as a "shaded rectangle mark" on the paintwork of the roof. At first I thought it was the reflection of my house window. I`ve never noticed this before and was wondering how to get rid of it and what caused it in the 1st place.

its possible your car was damaged on the production line and repaired near the end........

 

I`ll try and get pics soon. The thing is its only really noticeable in strong sunlight!
