Matt Red Punto... not for long though !
I picked up a little run around in the week, it's a matt Red Punto not a bad little car at all but it has never been polished in it's 7 years of life by the look of things....
Not much reflection left there
Well feeling brave after borrowing this I made a start...
Nothing special as such just poured some T-Cut on and let the machine do the work, no pressing at all and keeping the polisher moving freely accross the bonnet....
It's getting there after a coat of Wax....
You can just make out the matt of the wing....
This is after...
Rain stopped me after the front wings and bonnet so it looks like it's going to have to be a couple of panels in the evenings through the week.
I don't think I would have a go with the Scoob though, not really got the right materials for the job but since it's just the runaround I though I would just try what I have to hand to get rid of the awfull matt finish.
Even so suprising results I feel

Thanks Rich
Yes been quite interesting to try the electric polisher out on this, I always assumed they either fully rotated like a grinder or rotated several turns one way and then another but this one just vibrates in a similar way to a sander.
I can see why you have to be steady though and I don't think the scoob will be getting the treatment from it and yes it's good to see the Red come back to life
I've not forgotten the pm to you a while back just needed to get a few things sorted first... a runaround being one of them
