Default Car Valet, Polish Wax etc

My Scooby is in need of a very serious wash, polish, wax etc. It gots loads of swirl marks, tiny scratchs (damn cats), general road use.

I'm looking for a decent firm in Preston or Lancashire that can sort it out - any recommendations ?

If not lancs, then i may be prepared to travel a bit - dont want to go too far

Thanks for any advice

Just read through the process they advertise, and nowhere do they mention paintwork correction, only the use of cleaner fluids with fillers (which will only hide the swirls and scratches for a short while). So, I can only conclude they are valeters in the traditional sense, and not detailers. If you want the defects in your paint to be corrected rather than hidden, you will need to employ a detailer. I suggest signing up on www.detailingworld.co.uk and asking for help in the help section. There are a few pro's near to you, so you should get a response fairly quickly.

I'm with Rich here, the fillers will be gone the first time you wash the car....

It will look better for the first week or so. The detailing world site is the best place to find someone who will do the job properly for you.
