Thumbs up Introducing JEFFS Werkstatt...

We’ve only gone and done it again! Our continuing mission to bring new and exciting products to the UK continues – by the end of the month, we will be the official UK stockists of JEFFS Werkstatt range of car care products. We have been busy testing samples for over a month, and we can see what all the fuss on Autopia and Detail City is about – these products are simply superb. Not the easiest to use, but the results are tremendous – teaser pictures below, with full write up’s to come over the next week or so…

Prime and Acrylic Jett on our Leon…

Prime and Carnuba Jett on our C2…

Prime and Acrylic Jett on Jool’s STI…

Prime on a customer’s Merc…

Hmm, tough one that. Durability is similar, as is the finish (well, with the acrylic products at any rate). The FMJ is easier to work with my miles, but twice the price. Also, the JEFFS basecoat products deep clean the paint, whereas FMJ is just a sealant. I would conclude... if you are working by hand the JEFFS range is superb... if you are working by machine the Menzerna range has much greater abilities in terms of correction, although the final finish with both is excellent. Tough call!

Update - the production line delay was worse than expected, and our provisional shipping date of the 17th has passed. Jeff has been in touch today and the expected shipping date is now the 26th, meaning the products won't be here until early June... when we are heading off on hols. However, the sticking point is one particular non-essential product, so today we will see if we can ship without it and speed the process up. More news over the next 24 hrs as I get it...

Rich, been working with Mr Oliver on the scoob over the last few nights, and we have used his Blackfire stuff and I was intending on buying it, would it be worthwhile holding off and going for the Jeffs products? Also, with the car now having had the Blackfire polish and wet diamond applied, will i have to use anything to remove these products before applying the Jeffs?

Cheers Darren

Hi Darren, no, the JEFFS Prime will strip all old wax/sealant residues, so no need to do this first. The only reason I would switch to JEFFS from Blackfire on your car would be to gain more durability.

Default *** Update ***

Ok, here's the situation. The new batch of bottles won't be with Jeff until the 24th (they were delayed too). He is going to bottle everything on the 25th and try his best to ship on the 26th. The freight company usually deliver within 7 days, so we should have the products in stock and available to order on the 2nd June. Fingers crossed. Really sorry about the delay folks, rather frustrating given that we ordered and paid for the stock on the 19th April (you wouldn't believe the cashflow headache this has caused!). There is of course an outside chance that the shipment won't arrive before we go on holiday. I don't even want to entertain this thought right now, but I'll post further updates as I get news.
