Default Adhesive removal?

My MY06 WRX has adhesive marks (lines) on it from where the plastic film body panel protectors were in transit

I thought they would come off at the first wash but this is not the case

They come off with fingernail scratching (thought it had been keyed at first! )but obviously don't want to do this over the whole car.

Can anyone recommend something to get it off without damaging the paint?

Cheers,

N.B. I am not taking it back as it was from a car supermarket and if they couldn't do it the first time, I am not trusting them again!

sure it's not transportation wax? I had some on my rear spoiler and some tar and bug remover got it off very easily.

Any paint safe solvent should do it - so Tar and Bug Remover is worth a shot, failing that a good all purpose cleaner like P21S Total Auto Wash will take it oiff easily.
