Default Blue/Black MY02 First Attempt

Just a couple of pics after the first serious attempt to give the new toy a spring clean. Have read quite a bit on this forum about the right and wrong products to use, especially with respect to getting dark colours to look good. Think I now know which way to go when the Autoglym products run out but that said, here's the results of the following:

Washed using the two bucket method with Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner

Polished with Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine (especially good for dark colours). Applied with Meguiars Gold Class Applicator Pad and buffed with Meguiars Microfibre Towels

Autoglym Bumpercare on all of the trim details

A good few hours elbow grease but all in all really quite pleased with the results.

Thanks guys. Can't believe I am saying this, but I actually quite enjoyed the labour of love! All the good advice on here has been a great help too.

Who said there's a god!? He needs a good kick up the ar*e if there is! I guess it could have been worse though - a flock of Canada Geese maybe!
