Zymol question
...used zymol cleaner wax for the first time yesterday. notice this morning that the car looks great apart from a fine layer of powder dust all over it. not unpolished stuff, just kinda loose dust stuff.
does this normally happen, i dusted all over lightly with a cloth and it was fine.
Or does it mean i overdid it with the wax?? (ie was it excess?)

Isn't Zymol famed for its dust? or am I getting confused with Autoglym
Never used it myself

Probably does result from excessive use but it's human nature to use a little bit more than necessary in order to get a better result... Bit of pain but after initial polishing I just use a dry cloth to remove the dust. You will of course need to open doors/bonnet/boot as it tends to settle in all the gaps etc.
Would certainly recommend that the extra step they suggest to provide 'maximum gloss and shine', i.e. ligtly spray cool, clean water onto freshly polished surfaces and buff with a soft clean cloth, be followed as the final result is well worth the extra effort.
