Vyair 11 Litre water filter
Hi all,
Does anyone else here have a resin filter for the final rinse after washing the car? I think they're brilliant, window cleaners use them.
I got mine from a guy at work but needed new resin. I got a fresh bag of resin from County Detailing, and my TDS meter now shows 0 parts per million coming out of the vessel.
My tap water reads around 230ppm and my old resin was around 210ppm, so well due the resin change, but I didn't have a TDS meter until recently.
Talk about water spot free now, happy days!
I think quite a few people have them, but many wouldn't have heard of the idea.
Spot free is great especially with the summer coming up, you can chill and let the car dry in the sun, no nasty hard to shift water spots.
It is a bit of an investment, but now I don't think I'll go back to tap water for final rinse. The vessel also makes great suds in the bucket for the main wash.
The only thing I won't do is run the vessel into my Kranzle K10 122TS, no chance, if something went wrong and resin beads got into my machine, then that's a bad day.
It's not a great big vessel, and can easily be stored in a shed or garage in between uses.
