Machine polishing kit, Best buy?
Hey,
Looking to buy a Machine Polisher as I have a couple of cars needing a tidy up.
Might as well buy the kit myself and give it a go.
Any advice on machine? Angle Grinder style one or the two handle type?
Loads on Ebay etc, just not sure. Probably only get used a few times a year!! But still good to have a decent one.
Thanks in advance

From someone who has done it and has two friends who do it full time just pay someone else to do it.
You can do some real damage if you get it wrong and you'll struggle to get the finish I pro would with them.
If your really set on doing it get on detailing world loads of guides and tips about what to buy etc.

I got a Meguiars G220 v2 (dual action so less likely to give problems) a couple of years back and if you follow the guides on the aforementioned Detailing World site you will be OK. I have polished both of my Subarus with it and they looked fantastic afterwards, it takes ages though and you need to clay the car first to get the best results.
