Question

I post fairly infrequently, so was quite surprised this morning to get about 80 emial notifications that threads that I was not susbscribed had been updated.

Looks like a bug somewhere.

Anyone else seen this?

Ian.
(And no I'm not going to check the email notification box! :-)

Could this somehow be caused be using IE work offline mode, and some cookie is saying that I want to be notified of updates ??

I often download a couple of forums for reading offline - however, I have not had this problem before.

Right - I think it must have been my fault for using IE "work offline" mode.

The synchronizer to download the forums for offline viewing must have also tried to download the link that says subscribe me to this thread.

Presto - I am now receiving notifications to nearly all the threads posted in the last 10 days.

Great!
