I cant seem to search

Or rather I can, but I get no results just a white page with search provided by internet brands

Is this just me or is it a problem ?

 

Yes same for me. This is a bit crazy. We have had no 'go to last post' for 6 weeks or so now and this is the third time the search has gone wrong since I paid my subscription which I did ... solely to use the search

It's the weekend don't expect any answers from the lazy ***** @ IB until Monday aftertoon at the earliest.
I'll not be renewing my membership that's for sure.

I really wish they'd sort their sh*t out. It used to be a cracking site this!!

I was just going to start a thread asking this

 

I do have to say since its commercialisation from the sale its really gone down hill

And I also have to say that I am glad Simon is still around in some form to still deal with some of the issues

I am very disappointed in the whole IB handling since the sale

 

This is a f#cking joke now. Give me my money back now please. Every day it's something else. Internet Brands = Joke. If I wanted to use the google search I wouldn't have paid a suscription.

I'm serious about a refund by the way.

 

I'm not normally critical about site issues, but the search function, or useless broken search function to be precise is ridiculous.

As the saying goes; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Well it's been broken, so damn well fix it.

If it persists like this, I won't be renewing my plus membership. Hopefully, someone will get their act together and sort out these issues, once and for all.

Things, persistently, go unanswered in here of late. That HAS to change. If IB cant, or won't have someone, in the UK, monitoring at least this section, what hope is there for issues being resolved promptly?

Just my thoughts.

its got the point where all they car about is making money, at least when simon looked after it he had a passion for it and for subaru's

You need to sort this site out, its losing people fast, and getting more like a chat site instead of useful information like it use to be

 

What are the alternatives?

 

keep ur membership money watch the site get worse and worse wait till it goes under and we wall use sidc pump our money into that and watch it blossom into the perfect site pmsl yea right , no idea .

 

I am not sure why the dig at SIDC but I think you'll find that ALL the facilities of our website are available to members and Non Members alike AND THEY ALL WORK

Yep - I use Scottish Scoobies a lot these days (sub part of SIDC) - and the discounts at garages for the SIDC membership has already paid for itseld 4 times over this year. Great value.

I used to be a Plus Member here as well - but haven't renewed my subscription.

Must be galling for Simon to see this place go to the dogs since he sold up.

 

I am sure he is not happy about it

 

Would it be too much to ask of IB, that they actually have someone keeping an eye on things? Sorting issues?

Or is it going to be on a "When, or if, they can be bothered" basis?

Some people may not like Simon, but things got acted on quicker than this when he owned SN.

No 'go to last post' feature for the last 6 weeks either. A feature that works on just about every other forum in the world.

Thanks Ian, but surely Internet Brands being a commercial entity and running this site with our money should be a little bit more proactive in the running of this site

The search function is the most important function/feature of SN. As a plus member it has proved invaluable over the years and without it, the site is no more useful than a chat forum
