Would it be possible and/or beneficial to have the for parts sale section, split up into different sections.

Ie, classic, bugeye, hawkeye, etc.

I just find looking for parts really difficult and if the car its for isnt in the topic title, you can waste ages looking in threads that are of no relevance.

IMO, yes and no. Some parts are interchange-able through the MY's. Like Brembo's for example.

I agree that it can be a pain, when you spot something you're after, only to scroll through the ad/thread that it's not going to fit.

 

All things like this have plus and minus.

I think it would cause more problems than it would solve. Not ideal I know, but I don't think there is a perfect solution.

 

Could we possibly try it for 3 or 4 months and see how it goes, I have to agree its a bit AD mag at times with assorted bits thrown in with car parts.

 

Its too much of a big commitment to just trial things like that as it causes huge problems if we have to reverse it.

The for sale section is incredibly popular and successful, so for the sake of this relatively minor issue, I don't think its worth the risk.
