Yes I've read the sticky before you refer me to that and close the thread...

Mister Webmaster, why don't you keep the search function visible for everyone and for non-paying members simply bounce the search onto google prefixing the "site:scoobynet.com" for them.

Also when posting a new thread, particularly in General Technical for members with say less than 100 posts just gently hint to them that they may want to try the search function by putting a link on the new thread page somewhere etc.

Cheers, shouldn't be too tricky to implement either of those suggestions, and keeping the search function easily accessible would be of great benefit to the site and it's community.
