Instead of being that post so you can copy, paste, link etc it turns into an old random post usually from the ICE section.

Hovering over the post link does display the url for the post in the status bar, and the number displayed there does not correspond to the number listed in the url in the address bar, and that would somewhat explain why when you click the link it does not take you where it should.

Not sure why it's happnening, I've not had time to search and see if other boards are experiencing the issue.

It's possible it might be related to another bug where clicking the "go to latest reply" on a thread will take you to the first and not last post. If this is the case then if I recall, it's a problem with the vBSEO system, which allows for search engine friendly links, hence why the name of the thread now appears as part of the url.

 

Still not working, nevermind I know how hard it is to implement all the other changes for the better, incuding bling usernames, tart that I am

Stu/IB are working on a LONG list of things that they want to rectify, and this issue may well be resolved by one of the planned jobs.

Give Stu/IB some time as some of the jobs are rather complex, and if things are not working after that i am sure that they will lok into it.
