Question just wondering- site speed

I have 2mb dsl and this site has recently got REALLY slow.
All other sites are fine as normal, but SN has crawled to a near halt...

Same for me mate. Love the site and all that, but................when I click to load a new page, I actually flick onto one of my other Scooby sites to have a look what`s happening, as SN takes so long to load a page.

Nah, definitely your imagination. Site speed sucks big time. Webbie doesn't seem bothered about it though.

I notice this whenever there is 450+ users on-line

being a late night lurker the difference in speed between the late night and daytime is huge.

I think the Servers need more coal Simon

hello?

Simon?

Mods?

Anyone?

Ahhh I forgot...this is "Bugs and Feature Requests".....nobody ever answers threads in here.

perhaps if i post some **** it may get some attention

Has anyone fed the Hamsters lately? Can we get em some steroids?

1mb connection at home, quite a lot at work too and it's slower than a stoned slug traversing 40 grit paper, backwards...blindfolded!

Same here, 2mb at work and home, has been especially slow over the last few days.

Let us know Webby if there's any other feedback that might help with the diagnosis of the problem

Is mega, mega slow at the moment. I use another vB board with over 500 + users on at a time and that's never slow.

Seem ok at the moment (300 online) average of 3 seconds for a server response - far quicker than earlier.

- although 3 seconds ain't that quick for a BBS. Most others I use respond instantly (less than a second).

The only thing that has never changed speedwise when I gone from 500K to 750K, then 1mb and now 2Mb broadband is Scoobynet
