Been looking at these for a while and wanted a STi but the insurance is just to high at moment still.

So was looking for a wrx and came across a wrx 300

only had it few days, but so far so good, power is like nothing else I've owned and i had a megane sport 225 last year and i thought that had fair bit of power.

only downside is the standard stereo is **** and so are the speakers, so be looking to upgrade that soon.

Yeah seems very nice, very happy with it. Looked at few Sti's but were modded and seemed thrashed, plus the insurance was bit steeper than i was happy paying and stumbled upon this, liked it as soon as i saw it

only the stereo and speakers let it down in my opinion

I'm a local guy my self. I'm over in Saltcoats.
I recently purchased a 53 v8 sti, in blue. Mine came from Inverness.
It would be too easy finding a car local to me !!
I would have to agree with Boabmc. The stereo system is nothing but shocking !!!!!!!
I love my Subaru's, but the stereo quality must have been a major turn off when these cars where new !
I also own a 2011 Mazda 3 MPS, which has full Bose system installed. It's like being back in the good old days at the Metro Nightclub !!
I know you can't really compare the two cars, but it has to be said. The stereo is S**T !
I will be following in your footsteps, in the near future !
I usually prefer to listen to the car, but the opportunity to listen to Billy Reid, or Colin Mcardle on a Saturday night would be nice, Ha !
