Default New lights, HID alternatives.

Hi!

Recently purchased a Subaru WR1, I want to get some new lights for the car as I don't really like the candles it has right now. I did have HIDs on my previous Scoob however I don't really fancy HIDs this time round.

I've heard Osram Nightbreaker lights are pretty good? Any other suggestions? Also what bulb fitting would my car be? I believe the Blob STI to be H1?

Many thanks,

Loz.

You could try Osram Nightbreakers, Philips Exteme Vision, Ring 120% uprated or Halfords Ultra Brilliance when on BOGOF.

Amazon have the Ring ones: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_...dlight%20bulbs

Google is your friend for others.

PIAA are good, but far too expensive for what they are.

Thanks for the help.

Do you know what size the bulbs would be for a 2004 Blob STI? Getting mixed up with the H1 or H4.

Excellent, sounds good chaps

What about the sidelights? I'm assuming these bulbs are for the main headlights?

Confirmed again low beam is H1. I've had Philips Blue Vision, now have Osram Nightbreaker, very little in it....maybe the Philips a slightly whiter light.

Side lights I've just fitted led ones.....they are brilliant. Mega bright over the standard halogen bulb. Codes are known as 501, W5W.
High beam HB3, also in Osram.

Just had a look on Ebay, all of the above in Osram, 41 quid. Not bad!
