Default Seat Weight?

Anyone got any idea what the rear seats weigh in a classic wagon?

I don't know, but if you undo the 2 bolts holding it in place, hold the seat and stand on some bathroom scales, then put the seat down and weigh yourself. Then just deduct one from the other. Even if the scales arent accurate (most ain't) it will still give you a good indication of what the seats weigh...

**** all Lbs and negligible Ounces

Totally pointless removing them for the purposes of weight unless you are 8 stone and trying to set a drag strip record

Can't he just stand the seat on the scales and deduct nothing We always way our cases on our scales before going on holiday and they are always within one lb of the airport scales

If his scales are big enough Steve, yes. If the seat obscures the screen then no.... when I put my cases on the scales before the holiday, I can't see sod-all on the screen.
