I'm worried it might be broken!

99 classic with 60k on the clock, is making a quiet tapping noise from the engine! It could be a few things I guess but what's the most common faults please anyone?

How long has it been doing it, does it happen when car is warm or cold, is the car modified?

Has 282 bhp remap. Decat. Is all. Does it hot and cold. It goes tick tick tick tick tick
