My bugeye has one fitted and just wondered is there much power diference between sportscat and decat ?
I need to see neil(slow boy racing) as its not boosting right.
So I was thinking of having a full decat and map tweak while im there.

ps im on td05 16g/pinks/sti tmic & 2 1/2 inch exhaust.

Hi pal, are you after maximum power from your setup if so you will need full decat could be at least 10 hp difference between sports cat and full decat.good luck with your remap

 

seems far to travel to see somebody to look at it

 

that's what I was thinking mate , also its so quite compared to my last bugeye.

 

he put the last map on it shrek, ive not got the silver bug no more.

 

I'm running 450 through my sports cat.

Ive got a red/burgundy bug wrx(td05 ect) just trying to sort boosting issues.
Do you think I should decat it?
Had to sell silver one to pay off a £1500 bill and bought this with money left over.

 

Being honest you wont notice the bhp, the sports cat may slow the spool by a few hundred rpm`s but at least your legal.

 

ye I did notice it was a tad slower kicking in compred to my last bug with was the same set up , but it had full decat.
Plus it seems so quite compared to my last cobra exhaust.
