The glass fiber one on mine went really manky so I binned it.
Anyone know where I can get something to replace it. Ideally not glass fiber again

I heard this too... apparently it drops onto the engine if it catches fire... But to be honest it only covers a small part of the engine and would only sit on top of all the pipe work and not actually envelop the areas that are on fire. There would be so much free space full of air I can't see laying a small bit of fibre glass mat on top of the inlet manifold doing anything...
I think it is made of that material to stop it from catching fire but not to stop fires. Just guess work of course.... mine is in a landfill somewhere.

contact Lord Harding on here, he has a lovely bit of replacement on his bonnet and I am yet to find out where he got it from
I will see if he has a picture of his bonnet somewhere

Found these online. No prices or anything yet though. Maybe someone could get in touch and see if there's interest in a group buy.

when the cars moving though the air going through the engine bay will remove more heat in 5 seconds than an uninsulated bonnet will in a whole journey
i agree, they do look nice and tidy fitted and wont discolour like the oem ones!
i have just emailed them to ask for prices and more details of a possible group buy
Will let you know if/when i hear back
