no problem. Hope that this issue does not cause any more friction between us, or myself and anyone in SIDC. Would not like to taint any possible future dealings with you/scoobysport/SIDC.

Hope that you can make it, but can understand if you can't. Will make it up to you with a drink next time we meet.

 

Nicki, 2 little people and myself are coming. If you haven't taken care of it Markus I'll get hold of some SIDC joining forms to take down on the day. Also have to agree with Stef here Markus, in the end it's a drivers club, family events are a bonus, but they aren't what the club is actually about are they?
If you want to change the clubs focus nominate someone with the same views as you for chairman and get the support to vote him in mate. But all these little digs are just destructive - sorry but thats IMHO.

umm, what dig? I'm asking if anyone from the SIDC committe is coming along. I do seem to recall that in reply to either my, or SuzyQ's thread you stated 'there WILL be an official presence this year' so I'm trying to find out who that may be.

I know this is not an official event, but just curious to see if any official, ie; committe members will be there, mainly as a lot of scooby newbies might be coming along, and getting info about the SIDC from the committe might be beter than just some old member!

Markus, go there and have a nice day. You are getting all the help the SIDC can give, but please don't get hung up if this isn't what some other owners/members/committee members want to do with their spare time on that particular day.

As the Organiser of the event, I'm sure you would be able to adequately promote the club to a potential new member, in the absence of a committee member.

If you are not, I'm sure Chuckster or Barge would be more than willing to help.

for <B>once</B> I am <B>not</B> having a go at the club. I was asking if any committee members were coming down, that's all. I just want to know, as I have been asked if SIDC wanted a stand or somesuch at bentley, I did mention this in email to lisa, but go not comment back on this bit. Again, this is not having a go at the club.

I want to make this a good event for all, OK, I started off with a massive rant against the club, but I've learned to chill out a bit, so I'm not do ranty anymore.

I really don't want to pi$$ off the club, I DO like SIDC, it is the only scooby club that I know of and I do commend you for all the work you do.

Sorry if I've upset anyone, at first, yes, that might have been my aim, but as I've said, I've chilled.

I cannot thank everyone at SIDC for the help they have provided me in getting this Bentley thing arranged.

As you say, i'll do my upmost to promote the best subaru club in the UK.

When I said an 'official presence', that's what I meant, an arranged club presence. I didn't mean that a club official would be present.
As Pete has said, you're the organiser of the event so you enjoy yourself. I'm sure you'll do the club proud.

I see what you mean, I got your statement wrong, i thought it meant that committe members may be attending, hence the asterisked word.
