Can anyone help me clear up my confusion....recently purchased a UK registered from new 2005 Blobeye Sti,on reading threads on here it appears it is confused as to if it is a widetrack or not.
So it has the lip over he rear arches and the silver trim on dash in interior which I have been told wide tracks have.....but it has no DCCD.
Were some widetracks made without DCCD.?Does anyone else have the same?
Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated from one very confused Impreza owner

On V5 it states first registration 01/07/2005 and then below first registration in the UK 01/07/2005.
So I thought this would rule it out being an import, correct me if I'm wrong.
It has the 17" Enkei alloy wheels.
I searched the posts on here for any more info and I did read about the imports etc with no DCCD,but then checked V5 and I thought then that it wasn't a import.
The car is blue by the way not Grey.
Lol cheers F1 fan,is there any easy definitive way of me knowing if it is a widetrack?
If it has the arch flares on the rear and PCD 114 stud patern on the hubs/wheels then I would be pretty sure it's a widetrack.
I would call up a Subaru dealer and give them the numberplate or chasis number (plate inside engine bay), they will be able to tell you whether it's an official UK car or not. My guess is it's an import wthout DCCD.
Malta/cyprus import, Some came with out the DCCD, mate sold his car recently and that was a 2005 Widetrack STi with non-DCCD!! in black Originally imported from Malta through a car supermarket(Motorpoint, Carcraft etc) you get over here!!!
Pretty sure the EU cars dont come with a Cat 1 alarm system or locking wheel nuts from memory when they come over, but a lot cheaper then buying a new car from Subaru!!!
Have you got a service booklet/schedule????

Have a look at the driveshaft/track rod setup at the rear, if they have alluminium ends that connect to the hub then its a wide track... if not then its not
