Default Differences between Bug and blob

Hi guys, I've got an 03 WRX wagon at the moment that is standard apart from a race dynamix remap.

I have been thinking of going down the modding route but really think it's probably better to upgrade to an STI.

I'm looking at either a bugeye or early blobeye as they fit my budget, can someone tell me what the differences are other than cosmetic? Also how does the JDM bugeye differ from the uk spec?

Cheers

OP, whats your budget ??

You'll get a much nicer bug sti for the same money as a not so nice blob. And with a few choice mods the bugs can look stunning.

JDM's also have twin scroll turbo setup I believe? correct me if I am wrong though?
I used to hate the bugeye... but they are an acquired taste as now they are one of my favorite shapes, second only to the hawkeye.

personally I think the Bugs look the best and have got better over the years. A decent suspension set up and some 18" xxr 527 wheels on a 8.75 and they look awesome. mines only on 50,000. They are getting harder to find these days due to cars being worth more in parts. a prodrive bug is heading down the rare ish route now. grab one quick. 5k should find you one.

Prodrive bug for me all day long, a few little visual mods and they look real nice I think. Should also leave you a few pennies in the jar for a few mods then, well hopefully will.

Unless they are modded with too large a wheel and bone shattering shocks. Standard cars are fetching better money than modded ones.
