Default Going rate ( wheels )

Hi Guys,

1. What would you say is a reasonable price ( not greedy ) for a set of freshly refurbed inovit tarmac's without tyres

2. Same as above but with x2 toyo proxie T1R's with lots of tread and x2 Nexen N3000 tyres nearly new.

Cheers

Dan

from past experience selling tyres (unless virtually new) is a PITA

people dont want to pay anything near the new price, too many selling cheap part worns these days and then you have fitting costs to consider

i would rather purchase a set of wheels with good/very good tyres already fitted much easier transaction all round

HTH

Any colour the customer wants! ( powdercoat )

They would come with a set of 5mm shims to clear brembo's also

Would also depend on whether they're 17" or 18" as well.

I recently sold a set of freshly powdercoated (Anthracite) 18" Tarmacs with decent tread tyres (Nothing special though) for £280 collected.

I think new they are only about £400 without tyres, I'd say you'd get around that figure with the tyres if they are all tidy.

The tyres are all in very good condition, plus anyone who would want them would have the choice of picking their colour.

There is a place down here that powder coats for £120 a set of 18's.

Ditchfinder tyres will not add much value, branded/known makes appropriate to the car will make all the difference.
