Earlier this week I was contemplating swapping my 2005 sti for an evo 8 mr. After giving the car a wash and having a little blast in it this afternoon I've completely changed my mind. Realised what it is I love about the car and thought (nice as they are) would I really be better off in an evo? Had a look on mlr and it seems much the same as on here. So think I'll stay where I am for now

I really want a Evo....but want my Impreza more

 

I haven't had any of the newage impreza models but I have owned a version 3 STi and version 5 STi Type R and also an evo 7. And all I can really say is that the impreza and evo models both do the same thing (getting from a to b exceptionally quick in all conditions) but in totally different ways....dont blame you for sticking with the impreza

 

Had an evo 7 for twelve months years ago, great car, prefer the impreza though.

 

Just reminded again why I love this car. Just had a play with a gt-r. F**k me there quick! But the old girl did me well

 

Best of both worlds for me i own a blob sti and a evo 9mr. Not sure i could part with either of them.

there both **** hot rally cars.....built to rip B roads.....as long as you have 1 of them...lifes good

 

Here's mine. Gets driven once or twice a month due to work etc. But when i do, I'm grinning cheek to cheek every time. Smile's per miles 😃

 

They are road cars that resemble the rally cars, rally cars they are not
