Any antifreeze for alloy engines will do.
Unipart SuperOAT is only £13 for 5 litres of concentrate which will give you 10 litres of 50/50.

Just don't mix the two types.
If starting again, flush with clean water, then refill with a 50/50 mix of a decent a/f from a motor factors...ask for one for an alloy engine.

And PLEASE do a search on how to fill without airlocking, if you don't already know.

There is NO KNOWN WAY of bleeding the system if it does get airlocked.

a good quality blue glycol is what you after (unless you want something at a higher level) and i would NOT recomend running at 50/50 - this is only required for extreme cold temps

read the specific manufacturers but generally nearer 35% mix with 65% water......

a/freeze is not a good heat conductor and running too much a/freeze concentrate will highlight any cooling issues

a mix of around 35% b/glycol to water will give you protection down to around -25deg so for most UK users thats perfectly adequate and as water is a far better "coolant" than most things will work as intended in the summer months also.........

if you want something better then the Motul factory distilled coolants are spot on and you simply use straight from the bottle with no water mixing required

Alyn, I quoted 50/50 as that was what was on the instructions on mine: dilute 50/50 for protection down to -20 degrees.

Yeah me too. I've always done 50/50 on my cars.
Living in Scotland we can see 25+degrees in the summer and -10-20 degrees in the winter, especially if I'm away to Aviemore etc for boarding.
