Travelling back from the Lake District today and the heavens opened, rain like I've never seen b4, dark green Lotus Elise outside lane flies by, must have been nearing the ton mark, I stopped for fuel at the servs, gets back on to motorway and almost immediately hits standing traffic, eventually down to one lane the Lotus has been heavily damaged to both ends to the point that the nearside rear wheel is haniging at right angles to the car ! thankfully the young ponytailed guy was pacing the hard shoulder not quite beleiving whats happened. My thoughts are that he probably aquaplaned and lost control, my car was laden with my good lady and two children and was happy to be sitting behind the wheel of a scoob !

 

Sounds like a lucky escape for Mr.Ponytail. I hope that he learns from it.

 

Is that what it was........I was travelling the opposite way and just managed a glimpse of what I thought was a Kit car that it's bodywork had disintigrated, can't beieve he got out of that. I think I saw you in a sonic blue maybe P1 ?
