Hi I need some help and advice im after a ecu but can't find it anywhere where's the best place to look? I've done eBay and gumtree has anyone got any other ideas the ecu I'm after is (sp) a18-000 dix 3 plug

Am i right in thinking that you are after a version 5 type fit prodrive PPP ecu?.

Yes - Those numbers are for a PPP ecu MY99/00

 

Problem with fitting a different ecu is the transponder in the key wont match a different locked ecu so without the key to match the new ecu the car won't start without the ecu bring unlocked by someone to run on any car

 

Has yours rolled over when being remapped?

 

Not necessary on the my99/00 cars -- they are just plug n play....

 

Sorry for the late reply yeah the ecu has ppp map the ecu comes in the sti 99/00 and it is a plug in and play but very hard to find.

I have massaged breakers but no reply can anyone recommend a good breaker

 

The e3 ecu is basically the same as my y7 ecu the e3 just doesn't run as rich as the y7

 

i have the sp ppp one in mine how helpfull is that

 

check on ebay for it and forresters they had them too i belive?
