MAP sensor pressure
Hey guys,
I'm getting the odd fuel cut on my 97 turbo 2000 these days under heavy load. It's had quite a few mods by the previous owner such as front mount fitted, pistons, rods and crank replaced with updated kit. It's running higher boost than standard too which seems to be controlled by a Turbo Smart manual controller. The factory solenoid has been blanked off.
I noticed the MAP sensor that's fitted to the car is not the original one, the part number is 22012AA090 which appears to come from a V4 but my car is V3.
From what I gather, this V4 sensor is rated at 1.5bar and the standard V3 is rated at 1.15bar. Can anyone confirm or shed some light on this?
