The badger rights movement will hear about this..they don't look kindly upon people in chav-mobiles killing their members and complaining on forums about damage to their bumpers..

if you have hit 3 id be tempted to get your eyes checked or look at the road a little more,
these arent know to be the quickest so I cant see it sprinting in front of you at high speed, especially not in a Vectra B !

Looks like you got away with very minor damage there! They can make much more of a mess to your car than that

Doing the Government's work for them then?
A one-man badger cull.

I once played for a football team with mostly younger players.
A convoy of cars would always leave at least 20 minutes before it needed to for away games.

Country roads in Norfolk - teeming with pheasants.
First car knocks 'em down, second car gets them in the boot.
I'll never forget the day a boot was opened in order to share the spoils - and one of the bounders almost took someone's head off.

After that the least squeamish person always travelled in Car 2, to ensure that the poor bird was in fact dead before being transported.

PS you're lucky it's only badgers.
You won't believe what damage sheep can inflict - and still walk away.

I can, many years ago doing a road rally in wales mate of mine came round a corner and found a sheep lying in the middle of the road, swerved to avoid it and hit a stone wall and totalled the front of his car ! the sheep just got up and walked off

Badgers I'm sure are made of iron,my friend hit one in his 306 and ripped half the bumper off and fcuked the radiator, my friend proceeded to get out due to his animal loving mrs, then got attacked by the badger,I still giggle now when I think about it!!

We've our very own badger hunter in this part of the world.

Anyone remember a former Minister for Wales, Ron Davies MP?
Got found out wandering around Hampstead Heath, allegedly looking for the blighters.

Then a few months later it was Caerphilly mountain.

You want try a Monkjack deer at speed. It dashed out of the hedge at the side of the road just in front of me, no time to even get my foot to the brake pedal. **** the whole car jumped in the air. I was convinced that not only was the poor thing dead (which it most definitely was) but the front of my car would no longer be there. On getting out to inspect I was mystified as the only apparent damage was the number plate and under bumper foglights missing. Luckily I was in an old style Scirocco which has a dirty great rsj style front beam behind the flimsy front air dam. Later inspection revealed this had bent back near six inches but protected everything else from damage. I think any modern car would have been border line write off.

Last week fitted an alloy bonnet to my MY97 classic which has promptly proceded to collect dents from the dumb pidgeons round here, 3 in a week grrrrr

saw one dragging itself across the road in the middle of the night last week. I think some kind driver had ripped its back end clean off, made me feel pretty sick actually.

Loads of them up here and deer, grouse etc.

You cant blame Badger for not seeing his furry bredrin, the daft barstewards are the same colour as the road, they even have white lines down them
I once hit a deer in my mk2 escort RS,i picked it up and laid it across the laps of my mates in the back, only for it to spring into life a mile or so down the road. You cant imagine the chaos that caused !.I was the only person to own a deer hair recaro interior in my area,it had to be removed hair by hair, not to mention the sh*t,p*ss and tears(although the tears were mine)

Brilliant.
Sorry about the mess though.

I once did an impression of a ten-pin bowling ball.
Driving a Saab Turbo toddling along at about 60 when all of a sudden a pack of hounds burst through a hedgerow. Just like a good strike, poor things went up in all directions. I think 2 or 3 killed outright, a few more managed to limp off to die by the look of them and the rest of their mates couldn't be bothered and just carried on running amok over the next field.
First huntsman to arrive couldn't be arsed about the dogs either. He greeted me with the words "Did you see where the fox went ?" Funny thing is, I never saw a fox.

I found out later that underneath the plastic coating on the bumpers of a Saab 900 is what looks like a steel girder. No wonder the car survived with only a cracked headlight (oh, and some bloodied dogs hairs stuck to the bumper).

Our main source of roadkill around here is foxes and hedgehogs.

I once ran over a hedgehog in my XR3i... I hadn't noticed

It was only after a few days of red hot summer when the rotting smell started to enter the cabin that I realised. Made a right mess in the inner arch, and reeked that bad I was heaving when I was cleaning it off... Car was lowered so much I couldn't see the gore until it was up on a jack!
