Is my gearbox/clutch on it's way out?
Hi there,
Used to hang out on here when I had my classic almost 2 years ago but haven't really posted since as I sold the car and wife had little one.
I recently bought an 03 Blob WRX with a couple of mods, (exhaust, induction kit, some Prodrive hoses and a remap). I am definitely on the newbie side of the scale although have a very basic understanding of certain things.
When I am driving it around at any speed the gear changes are fine 98-99% of the time, however when I am pulled up somewhere and try to select first or reverse I occasionally have to gently persuade it in by either double clutching or just applying gentle pressure on the gear stick whilst gently lifting clutch until it engages.
Is this a sign of something failing?
Would appreciate anyone's response.
Thanks,
Matt
