Diff noise
On changing rear discs on my 02 bugeye I developed a noise
From the diff , I think , I've replaced my o/s drive shaft thinking it
May be that but no luck noise is still there, all I did was turn the o/s
Wheel on the jack could this break the diff!!!! Ps ,noise only on
Deceleration ,regards andy

I've sorted my diff noise on deceleration
It was the spider gears inside
Never Never turn one wheel when jacked up
Didn't think this would break a diff but it does
If you want to turn wheels make sure both wheels on
The same axel are off the deck

What was the noise, a grumbling on deceleration? Mine has spat a few teeth ends on the last couple of diff oil changes and it now makes a rattly noise on the overerun and clicks on slow corners.
Yeah grumble ain't the word, sounded like a bag of
spanners in there. About 3 teeth on each spider gear
completely shelled off not good , decided to replace with a
second hand one , diff that is , all good again thank f--k
