Default Prodrive ecu

Hi all,can anybody tell me if a prodrive ecu out of a impreza estate r reg (98),fit my impreza turbo 2000 my00 facelift,if so what's a good price to pay and what gains should I get with the prodrive up grades (decat) ect

You still need to get it mapped, so I can't see you gaining anything.

I read on here that someone got 1 of flea bay and just plugged it in and was well impressed with the gains,without gettin it mapped

it all depends if the 98 car is an my99 car, if it is then its a straight swap and gives good gains for money and doesnt need any mapping

if the car is an my98 car then it wont fit as alarm/immobiliser is built into ecu so not a straight swap.

Location of coil pack will determibe if my98 or 99

My98 coil is central on inlet manifold
my99 coil is offset to right beside dump valve

Cheers gambit,waiting to hear from the seller at the mo mate,what's a reasonable price for the ecu

97-98 impreza ecu has 3 plugs and 99-00 has 4 plug

About 200 is going rate for them, sometimes more sometimes less

The my 99/00 have 4 ports but 1's blanked off,the same as the AE 800/801 which are more aggressive than the AE 802 found in the 99/00
