Hi Pete,

There is life after scoobyloss. I swapped my STI for a golf, you just have to get your buzz from knowing how much money you are saving and thinking about how you are going to spend it.

Cheers

Thumbs up

The westie is much more fun to drive than the scoob was

It does take much longer to get point to point, but at least I'm guaranteed to still have my liscence 2 weeks later.

Austin Maxi. 1978 vintage. Tuned webers, bored out to 1960cc, twin garrett turbochargers. Pushes out 180 bhp. Nearly as fast as mine and Pops mate Rods Viva
Have a good day...Blutes

Well just had a blast in the cat. Wow Gotta get me one of those.

Not the most comfortable or practical but the handling steering and engine note (I know its a 1.4 but at 7000 revs its the dogs danglies).

Awsome car for a small engine but gotta say the scoob left it further behind than Jenson Button on the starting grid.

Excellent everyone go out and get one.

Now if that had been a megabusa (or high powered car) it would have been another sotry i recon LOl there are some people with cosworth engines in westys and cats, 250bhp at that weight LOL MAD MEN (and women LOL)

Think the megabusa gives 480 bhp per T thats a mighty figure

But they are fun

Yeah, but the Caterham Superlight R500 runs 500 brake per ton. Now that is mental from a normally aspirated car.

I have riden passenger in one, and it frightened me till I couldn't stop grinning

Mates cats about 100bhp with top end of 110.

But he's getting it uprated to 135bhp so mooooooooooooore fun

Just couldn't get over the handling seeing the wheels turn excellent and you can feel exactly wot the car is doing beneath you.

Highly recommended. 500bhp/ton that's gotta be fun.

Got the cat bug.
