Default Is there more modified scoobys in uk than standard ones

How many of u get worried incase the rozzers pull you
Because your scoob sounds to loud, or because there gona emissions test you?
Or because u havnt notified your insurance comp that
You've modified your car? Is it worth all the headache ?
Wanna see your views on it? There must be thousands
Of scoobs modified out there , so is it easy to over come

As long as you inform the insurance company and don't go too lairy with exhausts or bodykits there is no problem. I would say most Imprezas on the road have been modified in some way. Maybe a dump valve or an exhaust etc.

My car is heavily modified and had my car nearly a year and never had any issues with local police, Only done 3k though and i don't try and create attention to my self.

But to be honest most of my cars have been modified and never had issues, All mods are on insurance, I have seen a few threads about exhausts in last few months about people getting pulled for the db rating being higher than standard but to be honest a £30 fine don't really bother me.

Most modified Subaru's will run with no cats but it's only the same as any other performance modified car, If Vosa pull you its just unlucky but no need worrying about it.

They have powers to seize your car if they feel the need there and then.

True, when I lived in the midlands there are so many modified cars, and it such a vast area that to get pulled was a rarity , but living on the Isle of Wight, 28 miles by 20 miles, it's a different kettle a fish, lol, I'm still going for full decat system, and remap next month by bob Rawle , but I do worry Cus the police have nothing better to do over here.

I would say that there are more modified scoobs out there than standard ones. Which modified can be as minimal as a dv or de-cat etc. I am now on my 4th scoob and my first was standard, but that didn't last long! The current one to look at is standard except a stainless center section and back box on the exhaust I still have the down pipe cat still on, oh and a vta dv. Apparently though it has been tweeked a little and I can honestly say it seems to be the quickest scoob I have had to date and my 2nd scoob was running around 290bhp
Touch wood I haven't been pulled in any of my scoobs yet but if you go around with dark tinted front windows, loud music blareing out and the car looking like a tatty piece of old scrap, then I should imagine you would be a No1 target for the police.

Perhaps you should have asked if there are any un-modified Scoobs out there? ;>

Note: If the EU isn't challenged, they will legislate against modified cars!
