Blob eye widetrack?
Hi guys, I am currently looking to buy my first Impreza and I've decided on the blob eye sti but have been recommended to try and get the widetrack version. But I can't seem to find out how it is different to the sti.
I hope someone can explain what it is please and a rough estimate of how much they are worth.
Thanks in advance

Different offset and slightly wider at the back and an updated interior from the Hawkeye are the main differences.
You'll be looking for an 05 car or newer (maybe some 54's?).
They do bring a premium over the pre-05 ones, but part of that will be age/mileage too.
I paid £8k for mine with 38k on the clock and the PPP upgrade back in November.

Awesome thanks.
I'm looking at one and its done 95000 miles but has got a full service history and 2 owners and is £6900 did know If that was the right price.
Also what exactly is the DCCD?

It's basically a little **** which allows you to adjust the differential from being locked up and being automatic. On the whole a useless feature unless you're driving to an advanced level, but helps resale and is good fun in the snow
Driver Controlled Centre Differential.... if I got that right?!

is the wide track 'that' much better than the standard sti in your opinion if its only small changes?

)but i wish i would have bought one with a few good mods to start with and save a few quid so dont be put off by non standard cars
and that makes it harder to find the one I want
