Default Maf throwing a p0302 code.

Hi the other day i was going up a hill in my bugeye and it was pulling well when it missed a beat for a split second a threw the Cel light on.
I drove home steady without any problems and the cel light stayed on all the time, after testing it with a code reader it came up as p0103 (maf sensor).
I cleaned it as it was a little dirty refitted and erased the code.

Now the car has a smoother idle than before but picks up a misfire as soon as you give it a boot full around 3 to 4000 rpm the cel light flashes at this point and it is now reading the p0302 misfire on cylinder 2. Is it possible the maf is the cause of this new code as although it needed a clean originally tbh i didn't think it was that bad.
Thanks for any help guys.
