Mike IS on holiday this week. I don't want to call him on his mobile while he's on hols so will contact him next week.

In reply to Martin's questions on another thread, should have a clearer idea next week!

All,

Just had some info that a dealers is now to recieved their PPP in four week for trails and then will be signed off

Awaiting further confirmation/news

MartinM (from other thread)
PPP will be a Dealer fitted Prodrive Performance Pack will come with replacement ECU might have induction component and definately an Exhaust component/s. Lots of speculation on BHP figures 310 is the average guess but it's the mid range torque that required IMHO

310 BHP? Dream on chaps. You're going to pay 2k to have the 15BHP and 20lbs/ft of torque stolen from you returned. LOL.

In all seriousness though it will be very interesting to see what the ppp involves and achieves.Even though I d'ont think it will, but if it did provide 310ish BHP the Topgear/Autocar mob are going to vote it topcar for the next 10 years. It'll put Subarus back where they belong(yes I know thats not important etc etc)

At one of the recent STi track days, Mike Wood said the first PPP's would be carried out at Prodrive HQ and not at the dealers to ensure no teething troubles.

Dave,
Yes your absoulutely right my Quote "might have induction component and definately an Exhaust component/s" ooooops the definately an Exhaust component was my Assumption and not based on any insider knowledge
If I were a betting man I reckcon its nearly a 99.8% certain that the back box will be replaced IMHO of course
I must remember to engage my brain before opening my keyboard LOL

Just fit a MY01 PPP chip and you can have 245bhp rather than 265bhp

Just look how long it took for the MY01 PPP it takes time, effort and testing before they are going to let people loose with a new chip. Imagine the warranty claims if they all went bang.

Wonder if this all has anything to do with the car I pick up in 2 weeks time. STi 7 Prodrive exhaust dealer says it has 300ish bhp, front, rear struts air filter changed etc etc

I wonder.

I can only hope.

Thumbs up

Do you no what???? it's getting so close now my bank manager is crying LOL

Tony

PPP might have Front mounted Intercooler, Exhaust, ECU, Squencial gearbox and 300 Bhp at each wheel and cost £108 + vat and plus a small dealer Labour charge of £200,000
or
It will be £2K and you'll get a Drivers side Wiper Blade and a Sticker for the spoiler and flick the switch on the ECU from 261Bhp to 320Bhp. LOL

Is that Lancasters by any chance ?

Reason for asking is that the Pangbourne branch is quite near to me so might pop in and ask about it this weekend.

Don't suppose Mr Dealer mentioned any details, like how much etc..etc...

I'm sure there are plenty more owners on here (other than myself), who have driven a PPP equipped STi, and probably have a very good idea of what it will comprise in terms of parts, but noly a sketchy idea of price.

Unfortunately, nothing can be confirmed until the official announcement, as it is all subject to change....
