Thanks for the replies and photo.. Looks like its aftermarket then!!
Pants really as my other mats are mint!! Just the drivers worn through after giving them a clean..
Unless you drive around in slippers, they look like they would get pretty dirty quite quickly.
I've keep my old mat for work purposes, pop the new one in weekends or for shows.
All depends how clean you like to keep your car, I'm a 24/7 compulsive clean freak
Very true, but Norm was on about dirt more than hole damage.
But personal pref I dont like the metal plate look, cheapens the car's interior even more, again depends on what you want from the car looks wise, each to their own
My mats definitely have STi Type UK written on them, they are grey with the writing embroidered in pink. The other mats shown are nice and I probably will get a set to use, still want to try and get an original drivers mat though so I can keep a complete set of the originals together. So if anyone knows of one, hears of one or comes across one for sale please give me a shout!!..
I have found the easiest solution to be using the genuine Subaru rubber mats in my classic wagon. Really easy to clean too - quick hose down and scrub with soapy water. spray with Black-in-a-flash and job done
My drivers side mat is starting to go round the edges but as they are genunine WR Limited ones im wanting to keep them. If anyone finds a compay that does OEM mats please let me know.
