Default S202 rear spoiler removal

Sorry to ask such a daft question but when I remove the spoiler can you get white grommet's to seal the holes or is it a boot lid respray. I saw the car earlier without the spoiler and it just looked so understated and well cool really.

Better off swapping bootlids for one without the holes imho I prefer the S202 spoiler though

Are you getting rid of the s202 spoiler, If so do you have a price and is it a genuine one or a copy?

You should be able to get some grommets from screwfix etc..

I`m not so sure looking at the pics, They are not s202 mounts holding the carbon blade on.

But you gotta love a white bug s202

I think you might be right about the mounts. It is Kaz,s old S202 so there are loads of pics on here. I have been looking through the history of the car and its been a bit like "who do you think you are" the car seems to have taken on a completely new persona. I first saw the car in April I think when I bought a classic from Max and he had the S202 without the spoiler, now I've had three scoobs all with spoilers and I just remember thinking Oh My God that looks outstanding.

I'm pretty sure it's a proper S202 spoiler you have but the mounts are not.

Kas ran it spoilerless and it looked fantastic and I run my classic spoilerless. I personally don't think the lines on an impreza suit a spoiler.

What I have done is buy some white wrap (similar to what is used when wrapping cars) and I cut out some small circles. I then stuck these over the holes, it just takes the eye off it and in most cases you wouldn't spot them.
I chose this route over having the boot lid filled as many impreza owners love having a spoiler and wanted to be able to bolt it back on come sale time.

Totally agree.

I would suggest you keep that spoiler though regardless to what someone offered you for it. They are very rare and when you come to sell the car the new owner will want the car original.
