Default Happy Scooby owner again!

Hi guys, this morning i managed to buy a version 4 Type R in white,74k miles with 2 mots showing it was only imported in 2009...... for £3200 plus auction fee's

Anyway i have taken the auction gamble and driven the car home, all is good BUT i have found when reverseing i can hear a knock knock coming from what seems the rear diff?? is this normal...the car drives fantastic, pulls hard, DCCD adjustment seems to work fine on the dash so no real complaints apart from this knocking issue and funny enough it only happens when i am reverseing at a angel??

Either way i am a happy bunny and have returned to my home with my third scooby...wife does not know as she does not finish until 5 and i was suppiosed to buy a van

Welcome back mate. Are you making sure the diff is in the open position (all the way back) when you reverse? PMSL @ wifey not knowing. Top man

As above, you no doubt have the diff in the closed, or nearly closed, position -- the maneuvering slowly/clunking noises is a common scenario to happen to first-time DCCD owners.

Make sure you post up the amusing anecdote of your missus's reaction when she claps eyes on it (the car, that is)...
